SUMMARY:2nd Secure Societies “Project to Policy Kick-Off Seminar” (P2PKOS)
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to inform you that 7SHIELD Project has successfully participated in the  Second Secure Societies “Project to policy kick-off seminar” (P2PKOS)  for security research organized by the European Commission (EC) Research Executive Agency (REA) that took place on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 March 2021. The seminar included participation from 43 projects of the 2019 H2020 Secure Societies call\, as well as representatives from the REA\, DG HOME (Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs)\, DG CNECT (Directorate-General for Communications Networks\, Content and Technology)\, additional EC policy officers and other European agency representatives. \nDuring Day 1\, of the 2-day event\, we had to opportunity to listen to a series of speakers and receive information and guidelines on subjects such as ‘Crisis Communications for EU security research’\, ‘The challenge of Innovation Uptake’\, as well as to be introduced into the ‘the Horizon Results Booster’.\nDuring Day 2\, and the 7SHIELD project presentation\, we had the opportunity to have a very constructive discussion with the Policy Officers on the scope of 7SHIELD and the technology to be used.
