SUMMARY:11th EU-US-Canada Expert Meeting on Critical Infrastructure Resilience
DESCRIPTION:The 7SHIELD project and its main achievements were illustrated at the “11th EU-US-Canada Expert Meeting on Critical Infrastructure Resilience” that took place in Paris on 1 and 2 June 2022\, co-organised by French Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the EU Commission. \nPartner SPACEAPSS  presented the main promising innovations from 7SHIELD’s perspective in terms of cyber and physical technologies\, as well as methodological and operational pathways.

DESCRIPTION:The International Cybersecurity Forum is Europe’s leading event on digital security and trust issues. \nIts unique feature is to bring together the entire cybersecurity and “trusted digital” ecosystem: end customers\, service providers\, solution providers\, consultants\, law enforcement and government agencies\, schools and universities… \nIts mission is to respond to a double urgency : \n\nTo face the operational challenges of cybersecurity ;\nTo contribute to the construction of a digital future in line with European values and interests.\n\nThe FIC is at the same time: \n\n An exhibition dedicated to meetings between end customers and solution and service providers;\nA forum for exchange and reflection on the operational and strategic challenges of cybersecurity.

SUMMARY:CIPRE EXPO | 2022
DESCRIPTION:Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience Europe brings together leading stakeholders from industry\, operators\, agencies and governments to debate and collaborate on securing Europe’s critical infrastructure. \nThe unique two-track conference programme delivered a leading line up of international experts to discuss securing Europe’s critical infrastructure and major venues\, from both physical and cyber perspectives. \nCritical Infrastructure Protection\nWith much focus on convergence\, the CIP track of the programme delivers discussions to review the potential threats to critical infrastructure\, smart construction and building in security  resilience\, and a focus on ‘Transport\, Energy & Telecomms Infrastructure’\, three key elements of a countries economic activity. \nCritical Information Infrastructure Protection / Cyber Security\nWith the ever increasing threat from cyber attacks on critical infrastructure\, the information and data stored and used by CNI systems and operators can be more crucial than the system itself. CIIP is becoming ever more important as part of the cyber security strategy of an organisation or CNI operator. \nWith a unique conference programme set-up\, providing enhanced opportunities for discussions between the physical infrastrucutre and cyber security\, who need to work together to mitigate threats and attacks in our combined plenary sessions\, as well as focussed discussions within each discipline in the individual CIP and CIIP tracks. \nNo major city in the world is without its own major events venues\, such as sports stadia and expo centres\, and these are routinely fully integrated with that cities transport infrastructure. Sporting venues therefore share many of the same security and resilience challenges as the transport hubs with which they are linked. It is with this in mind that this year we have decided to include event venues within the programme\, providing a holistic approach to largescale people security\, safety and movement.
